ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Noor Alam said in a tweet on Sunday that for him and the party, Pakistan comes first and then politics. He said he believes in accountability, adding that he stood by the statement that all three lines and advisors should be placed on the ECL.

On Friday, Noor Alam had attacked the government on the floor of the National Assembly for allegedly ignoring Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and demanded that top cabinet members, including the PM, be placed on the Exit Control List (ECL).

"The members occupying the first three lines are the main perpetrators of anarchy in the country, so put your name on the ECL and Pakistan will survive," Noor Alam Khan said on Friday, pointing to the front lines of the Treasury benches. Prime Minister Imran Khan is also sitting as the Leader of the House.

The ruling party MNA also raised the issue of ban on new gas connections in KP, especially the provincial capital Peshawar. Without naming anyone in the government, Alam asked the rulers to come out of their luxurious cocoons and pay attention to the sufferings of the people. "Please get out of your plane, your Land Cruiser and BMW and look at the [pathetic] condition of the people," he said. Meanwhile, activists of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf demonstrated against party MNA Noor Alam in Peshawar on Sunday.
