Kate Middleton celebrated 40th birthday early January
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made sure they gave sister-in-law Kate Middleton a worthy protocol on her 40th birthday.
Royal expert Christopher Anderson says the video from the Sussexes made the Duchess of Cambridge wish her well.
As Express.co.uk reports, "They did a video call. They wished her a happy birthday. [It] was very private. Harry and Meghan weren't going to post anything like they did two years ago." "
Unlike in previous years when Harry and Meghan displayed "their affection" for Kate, the former senior royals kept it low-key this time around.
Christopher said: "This time everything was kept private"
Kate Middleton celebrated her birthday on January 9 with a special tribute to the late mother-in-law Princess Diana, Queen Elizabeth II and Queen Victoria in a series of three birthday photos.
