Actress Sonakshi Sinha is worried about the debilitating effect of the third lockdown on the film industry.
The new year began with a rapid rise in the COVID-19 cases, which again affected life.
Sonakshi stressed that the onus is on us citizens to be careful and play a role as responsible individuals to contain the spread of the virus.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, “Not just the film industry, everyone [by the pandemic] has been badly hit in terms of jobs, taking care of their families. The whole country cannot tolerate the lockdown. It is also up to us as a citizen to be careful and responsible to contain the spread as much as possible. I believe people are taking this seriously and they should do it for the sake of others. Hopefully we don't have to go into lockdown."
Adding further, “I am fresh again to start this year. Professionally 2021 was great for me. I completed three projects. Now I am shaping up for my next project, I hope to start work on it by February.
She concluded, “This very exciting phase has come at the right time, while I was warming up and doing projects, experimenting with roles. After working for 10 years, you want to do something different."
