Grimes calls on Dune universe to 'not wake up'

Grimes called out Dunne for not being 'wake up', while revealing that the singer had been unexpectedly dropped from the project.

During her conversation with Vanity Fair, Grimes agreed to open up on her love for Frank Herbert's books.

Elon Musk's ex-girlfriend revealed that Warner Bros. picked her as an influencer for Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya starrer.

"I was basically an influencer," she told the magazine.

However, when a picture of Grimes reading The Communist Manifesto surfaced on the Internet, he was removed from the film.

"There are things that don't wake up deep in the 'Dune' universe," she expressed.

However, Grimes couldn't stop himself from praising the film. "I was just crying my eyes out for the whole movie."

She admitted that the character of Paul - Chalamet in the film reminded her of her son, X A-12.

"I just know that X has to really go through all this (outrageous) that mirrors Paul-type stuff," she said.
