Prince Harry and Meghan fans face backlash for targeting William

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle fans have criticized 'enemy number one' Prince William for unleashing a 'killer fury'.

Palace Confidential host Joe Alvin said he had come under "some fairly epic trolling on social media" last week by 'Sussex fans' who said they were trying to find some reason to be angry with the prince.

She wrote in a Mail on Sunday article: "The Sussex squad likes to engage in a sport I call 'offence fracking': mining deep, deep for something - anything! - to jump in and get pissed off."

The royal expert has dubbed fans of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle the 'Sussex squad' in her article.

"Last week, his ship really arrived when he found the most reason to unleash a deadly fury on enemy number one, Prince William."

It comes after William and Kate visited volunteers at the Ukrainian Culture Center in London last week who were helping to fill a lorry to support humanitarian relief efforts, where Harry's older brother said: "Our generation It's very different to see in Europe."

The Duke of Cambridge came under immediate criticism when the report said he had said it was "in contrast to the conflicts in Asia and Africa".

Alvin said: "Initially, some social-media reports claimed that William also made a comment along the lines of 'more used to seeing it in Africa or Asia'.

"But it turns out he didn't say anything like that - evidence was coming later in the day, when a video of the incident was widely circulated online.

"But it's no fun for crime freaks. So Twitter's Sussex Squad wasted no time shouting about 'racist' William".

She claimed it was "egged on" by Finding Freedom writer Omid Scobie, whom she describes as "Harry and Meghan's most famous cheerleaders".

However, the author shared a video of William's visit to the centre, titled: "Following a press association report that claimed Prince William had said Britons 'watched conflict in Africa and Asia' are more used to', a clip of the conversation is under consideration.—not featuring these words—has been shared."

He continued: "Even though William had indeed said about Africa and Asia, it would have been an excellent job to make a short, snarky remark and to counter it, until he had found reason to be offended (Offence Textbook's definition of fracking).

"But then Meghan and Harry's 'squad' really seems to have all kinds of things that could start a brawl in an empty room."
